The Mexican Association of Higher Institutions of Physical Culture (AMISCF AC) was created in 2006 under the initiative of different universities in the country, with the vision of generating a space for academic convergence, research as well as for the extension and dissemination of culture, which would be perceived as an engine to facilitate the development and growth of Physical Culture in our country.

Currently AMISCF AC associates 20 Educational Programs from 18 Higher Education Institutions in the Country, including 21 Academic Bodies, of which 6 are consolidated, 7 in formation and 8 in consolidation.

To group together the educational programs related to Physical Culture from the various Higher Education Institutions in the country

Promote the scientific and academic development of schools and/or faculties of physical culture, physical education, sports, and recreation as well as related educational programs in the country.

Promote support for teaching, research, service, and dissemination programs developed by schools and/or faculties of physical culture, education
physical, sports, and recreation as well as related educational programs.

Promote and assist in updating undergraduate and graduate educational programs in accordance with international trends and nationally established higher education policies, respecting the autonomy of Higher Education Institutions.

Promote and encourage the generation of work and technology models and methodologies related to physical culture, physical education, sports, recreation, as well as related educational programs.

To disseminate and promote lines of research related to physical culture, physical education, sport, recreation as well as related educational programs.

Promote and integrate work groups and research networks that foster the consolidation of academic bodies that interest the Institutions.

Promote the organization and delivery of congresses, courses, conferences and other modalities on topics related to physical culture, physical education, sports, and recreation as well as related educational programs.

To provide scholarships to its members for attendance and participation in various academic and research events, as well as events for the extension and dissemination of culture.

To compile a list of its members by specialty to offer consulting services to public and private institutions, as well as to different levels of government.

Promote and organize any activity that directly or indirectly favors the purposes of the association, as well as associate and collaborate with other associations or public or private institutions with similar objectives in the country or abroad.

Actively or passively contract all kinds of services, enter into contracts or agreements, as well as acquire by any title literary or artistic property rights or concessions from any authority, as well as acquire or transfer, by any title, all types of copyright; obtain and grant licenses or authorizations for the use and exploitation, in general, of all types of copyright, whether in Mexico or abroad.
